The Riverland is an amazing area. At first glance you are taken in by the peace and tranquility of the magnificent river but when you look a little closer you find that there is just so much to see and do, and more is happening all the time...
Just outside your front door you have direct access to the Pike River where you can paddle for a short while in a kayak or spend a half or full day in your exclusive hobie kayak exploring the magnificent river system.
Or book in for a Pike River backwater tour aboard the purpose built photographic dinghy.
On site you can spend your day at the Pike River frontage, watching the birdlife drift in and out, take a stroll to see the sites own 'power supply' or visit a very special tree....
You can also take a stroll up Pike Creek Rd( about a 1.2km walk) to visit Yvonne at 'Coongalena Cottage' Lyrup's own art studio(by appointment) wandering past the vines as they meander along the road.
Days can be spent on site, the choice is yours.
