Pike River Woolshed

The Woolshed was the beginning of the development at Pike River.

The Woolshed was last used as a working shed in 1985. For the next 10 years it received little attention apart from the odd internal wall and a brief visit from its owners.

In 1996 the conversion to its current state began, although the first attempts to make it a liveable space were fairly basic!

The conversion to an accommodation abode was finalised in 2006 with the first guests arriving in April.

Offering accommodation for up to 10 adults and its 180 square metres of internal living space coupled with large covered decking have provided visitors with an iconic accommodation setting. We have been pleased to welcome an ever increasing number of guests to the Woolshed and we invite you to experience a small piece of the Riverland's history.

The Woolshed retains its own website and bookings can be made via both the Pike River and Woolshed sites.
